For those of you who sew, making blankets and matching pillows is one way to put a personal touch on the gift. Instead of wrapping the blanket and pillow in a gift box, why not put them in a cloth laundry bag? A red or blue laundry bag for the holidays can be found at most dollar stores and are great to use for storage.

Character blankets are wonderful items for the children as well as adults. They’ll love to wrap themselves in a Dora the Explorer fleece or a Tweety Bird throw. One that matches the theme of their bedroom will accent the décor as well as keep them warm.
