The liner can hang inside the tub, but the fabric curtain should hang down over the tub, but not touching the floor due to potential standing water. Finally decorate the rest of the bathroom with meaningful accessories to tie the design together. Consider giving your shower curtain extra flair by attaching a cornice board at the top reaching up to the ceiling or by pulling one layer of fabric curtains back to expose another much like a traditional window treatment. Valances or ruffles can help give extra style to a basic shower curtain as can clever hooks. Functionality The selection of shower curtains available today includes a design to suit every decor. There are endless options of colors, textures and even lengths and sizes. Some shower curtains have been designed to be extra long for tall ceilings and extra wide to wrap completely around standing tubs.
