Landscape Themes
Through the careful selection and placement of yard art, you can set the stage for a specific theme throughout your landscape and gardens. Landscape themes are those that repeat themselves throughout your entire landscape design. Popular cultural themes include rustic, country, Mexican, Italian, and Japanese.
In order to incorporate landscape themes into your yard, you need to focus on purchasing lawn ornaments and supplies that feature that specific theme that you have chosen. The Mexican theme features a strong reliance on pottery. The Japanese theme might incorporate a few Buddha statues or fountains. For a rustic theme, old farm tools are being restored or replicated for use as planters for the yard and patio. Cut outs, garden fountains, statues, bells, and chimes all play a part in creating the perfect landscape theme. Create a plan on paper with suggested placements for each of the items that you intend to incorporate into your design. Make changes as necessary in order to keep everything complementary to the grand scheme of things. Additionally, the type of plants that you incorporate into your yard can add to the overall effect.
