Freaky Frozen Hand
Supplies:
- 1 latex rubber glove like the kind that is used in doctor’s office and hospitals.
- Kool aid or colored water. You may use plain water if you choose.
Method:
- Fill the latex rubber glove with the liquid of your choice.
- Make a tight knot in the top of the glove so the contents won’t leak out.
- Place the filled glove in the freezer and leave it for 24 hours.
- Add to the punch bowl just before serving the punch. Hide the hands in salads, fruit and vegetable trays and cheese trays.
This cool trick will scare everyone silly and the ice hands melt very slowly. Leave your hand in the glove for a ghastly effect when it starts to melt.
Creepy Buffet Table
Supplies:
- 1 black tablecloth that will cover the buffet table.
- A cardboard or plastic coffin that is just a bit smaller than the table. If you can’t find one in holiday party stores, make it yourself.
- Fake spiders, tarantulas, snakes and lots of fake cobwebs.
- A life-size plastic skeleton.
- Halloween paper plates.
- Orange plastic utensils.
Method:
- Place the black tablecloth on the table.
- Hang cobwebs on the sides of the table and stretch them to the floor.
- Place the cardboard coffin in the center of the table and arrange food in it.
- Place paper plates and utensils in one end of the coffin.
- Add lots more cobwebs, spiders, snakes and tarantulas around the coffin and on its sides.
- Sit the life-size skeleton on a chair, fasten it securely and set the chair at the head of the table.
- Place spiders, snakes and tarantulas in the skeletons mouth, eyes and ribcage.
Have fun. Your guests will be delighted when they see Mr. Bones ready to partake of the Halloween buffet.
