The four sides, which lean inwards to bring it to the fleur de lis peak, are crafted from panels of scrollwork that provide a decorative frame for the three platforms that each hold a pillar candle. The large candles and the height of the tower, make it an ideal way to create more light than simple tapers, and less than an electric lamp.
