Dogs really are Man’s best friend, and often, they’re also the rulers of their “masters”. We were so enchanted by this wonderful and whimsical “It’s Good To Be King” figurine, that we knew it would be a bone of contention for our customers when it came to giving it away. So we brought in several, to give you a chance to enjoy its charm on your own bookshelf while also getting one for a dog lover’s gift. The design was inspired by an original birthday card by artist Mary Badenhop, who artfully piled up furred and feathered critters, all of whom were taking a turn at being King for a day.
